Favorite series to watch this summer

Hey guys, how are you all? So I got done with my exams about a week ago and I cannot wait to embrace my vacations. I have planned quite a few things to do these holidays, and one of which is to rewatch some of my favorite series. I am actually a really big english drama buff. It is definitely not the only genre I watch but what I watch the most. So below I have shared a few of my favorite series which I think you guys will like too:

  • Grey’s Anatomy (Medical Drama): To any person who knows me well, this is a no shocker. Grey’s Anatomy is an American medical drama television series which is about to complete its 14th season. It focuses on the life of the residents, interns and attendings and how they manage work and life. Keep in mind, it is not for the faint hearted.

  • Castle(Crime-Comedy Drama): I have watched this show over three times and yet I am nowhere over it. It has a total of eight seasons and is based on how a mystery novelist and a New York detective team up to solve crimes in the city. I highly recommend this. I can binge watch this anytime, anyday.

  • Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Comedy, Historical Period Drama): Set in 1958 New York City, this series follows a housewife who discovers she has a knack for stand up comedy. Although only the first season has been aired on Amazon prime, I have read that season two is making its way on amazon prime soon!

  • Rizzoli & Isles (Political Procedural, Crime Drama): I came across this show while browsing through amazon prime and I finished the entire series within a couple of weeks. I was addicted to it! (Well I still am) It is based on the novel Rizzoli & Isles by Tess Gerritsen. The story revloves around detective Jane Rizzoli and Medical Examiner Maura Isles who work for the Boston Police Department.

  • Gossip Girl (Teen Drama): Okay so let me be honest, I have a love-hate relationship with this series. There are certain episodes which I love and then there are some which I skipped and got done with in 15 minutes flat. The series basically revolves around the fictional lives of upper-class privileged caucasian adolescents living in the upper east side of Manhattan.

So that is all for this post, also do let me know your favorite series that I can watch!
