How I organize my makeup

image9-final

Hi guys! How have you all been? I have been having pretty hectic days along with the on and off fever and cold, which trust me is very annoying. But I feel better now. Also, I had hosted a giveaway on my instagram a few days back which got a very positive response so thank you all for that!

I have been wanting to put up this post since a very long time and am so happy that it’s finally up! It is no news that I love makeup. I don’t wear a lot of makeup on daily basis but some blush and mascara doesn’t hurt. However, finding them becomes very difficult if not stored properly. How many times does it happen that you forget about your perfect nude lipstick because you can’t find it? Or discover a new mascara while cleaning your makeup pouches? Or finally find your favorite foundation only to realize it has expired?! This is why I strongly recommend investing in some makeup organizers. This way all your makeup is in front of your eyes, no mess created and you save a hell lot of space. I love storing things properly. Not only my makeup but also my perfumes, or bags or shoes. This way I can make the most out of them.

I store my makeup in the transparent acrylic makeup organizers which are easily available in the market as well as online. Also, these are so durable and hassle-free. I have been using some of them from past 2 years! So without any further ado, lets just hop into the post and check how I organize my makeup!

Lipsticks: As you can see, all the shades I use are quite similar. I store my lipsticks in a 24 slot organizer. This was the first organizer I bought. I can organize upto 24 lipsticks at once, which is pretty good compared to my lipsticks lying here and there in my drawer. Buy it here.

Base & eyes: So I have 2 organizers dedicated to my base and eye makeup. In the first one, I store my eye pencils, lip liners and tweezers in the pre-divided slots and my BB creams, foundation and primer in the other half. I know I have few empty slots but I use them to store my extra lipsticks which I couldn’t find while shooting for the post. I could not find the exact organizer online, so here’s the link to a similar one. Click here.

As for the second organizer, it is a bit bigger than the other ones which I like. In the first slot I store all of my concealers and my liquid lipsticks and favorite mascara in the next one. The four small ones store my chapstick, a small mascara by benefit, a travel size lip gloss and my brow mascara. In the other half, I have my pressed powders, some blushes, favorite contour palette, a single eye shadow, brow pomade and another concealer. This one has got to be my favorite organizer. I can store so much in so less space. Buy it here.

Brushes: I literally cannot live without my brushes. I have almost all types of brushes and I do use all of them. I store them in a basket kind of thing as I feel they are easier to find that ways. These baskets are easily available but I will include a link to buy them anyways. I know they are dirty. Don’t worry I cleaned them yesterday. Buy it here.

Palettes: I think palettes are a really nice way of getting more and different products at a cheaper price. Currently, I only own 3 palettes and one of the value sets which I just stack on top of each other and keep them in my drawer. But if own quite a few of them, I would suggest you to buy another organizer, only for palettes.

Well, so that is it for this post I hope you guys liked reading it as much as I liked writing it.
