Goodbye 2017

Hi guys, how have you all been? Firstly, hope you all had a Merry Christmas and will have a very Happy New Year! For me,December has been pretty amazing so far filled with multiple celebrations and loads of travel and surprises. This year has been pretty amazing and I truly feel grateful. Be it regarding the blog, academics or personal life. I hope you all had a great year too. For this post, I wanted to do something I have never done before, something that is a bit different.

I will be sharing my top 10 highlights of 2017! P.S. It was so not easy to decide the top 10, but I still managed. I always believe that there is a story behind every picture, every smile and every thought. I have shared a few of these pictures before on my social media, but today I will be sharing the story behind them.

We all have days where we feel low, like really low. But that was never the case with me. If I feel low, then that continues for days, weeks infact. This picture is of the day I finally took myself out for coffee, spent sometime alone and took baby steps to improve my condition. For me this was a very big milestone.

I have always wanted to get my hair colored. But something or the other kept stopping me. So one day I finally got up, booked an appointment and came back home with burgundy highlights. I still love these highlights so much!

So this was my birthday brunch with my best friend (who meets me hardly 4 times a year!) I am not someone who likes to party, just take me to a good place with good company for brunch and I’ll be the happiest chick you will see. I was really grateful that she could take time out for me.

This was the most last minute trip I have ever gone to! If you’re from India, you’ll know the obsession of people with Goa for vacation. I most randomly joined a couple of my girlfriends to Goa after coming back from Udaipur 16 hours before and boy! one of the best decision ever.

I love discovering new places. This place was actually discovered by one of my friend. This was on the day of Rakshabandhan with my cousins where we all just chilled for a few hours, enjoyed the view and our drinks. I don’t think I can describe this day very well but you all get a gist right?

The snapchat caption is a very sarcastic one. Please don’t take it seriously.

Okay so this one is really random. Up-till a few months ago, a stray cat used to come to my house everyday, drink milk, play around and then leave. She hasn’t come in the past few months but I really loved her. I miss her. I know this might seem very weird but I don’t know why, I really enjoyed her company.

So this was the first time I had done a photo shoot where the photographer wasn’t really someone I knew very well. But it was so much fun and then later coming across my own picture in the explore feed on instagram was just a different feeling all together! The picture was reposted by so many other accounts and I was so overwhelmed!

Okay. I know this isn’t exactly a good picture, but another thing I am very much grateful are for my friends. I don’t have many, but I cannot imagine how this year would have been with even a single one of them missing. I managed to improve my relations with some, and make a few ones as well!

This blog is my baby. Every post I put up, every picture I click has my focus and truth 100% And it is good to see brands recognize this. I have done only a few collaborations this year, but every one of them has been tried and tested by me.

Always photobombing!

Last but definitely not the least has to be my recent trip to Himachal with my friends.I cannot even begin to describe how amazing this trip was. The view, the sports, the company everything was just perfect. I wish I could go back!

So that is it for this post and I hope you all had a great year!!
