Let’s talk ’bout those pimples

Hi guys, how are you all doing?  Well I have been super busy with my exams and these rains make it so difficult to shoot! From past few days I am getting  a feeling that I have lost my connection with you guys, so recently when Himalaya contacted me for their campaign, I thought this is the perfect time to start including more one-on-one posts in the blog.

So today, let’s talk ’bout those pimples. I got my first pimple about 6 months ago. I was shocked. I always take good care of my skin. Like any other person, I was not ready to welcome this change. For me, it was a thing to be disappointed about. Not because I had a pimple, but because I never really thought about it practically. You see, up until then I believed that pimples occur if we don’t take proper care of our skin.

But that’s a myth. Pimples basically occur because of the hormonal changes happening inside our body. Different body react differently. Some people get lots of pimples whereas some might just get one in 2 months. It is not that big deal. I have seen girls losing their confidence, staying inn, covering their face with scarf/hat and what not. But personally, I don’t find it to be a big deal! This is a natural thing. Stop treating like a taboo.

But that being said, it does not mean that you don’t take proper care of your skin. If not taken care, pimples can take a toll on your skin. It doesn’t matter whether you have dry skin, normal skin or oily skin. I have a normal-dry skin.

I swear by the Himalaya Neem Purifying FaceWash when it comes to pimples. I use it twice a day followed by a good face cream. The difference is quite evident. The face wash is gentle on your skin. It also helps with acne up to some extent. Till date I haven’t have had any problems or reaction with this, but would recommend you to do a little patch test. If you are someone who doesn’t like to experiment with products for your pimples then this face wash shall be your go to.

Just remember there is nothing wrong about having pimples, but you still need to take care of it.
