Hi guys! Wish you all a verryyy happy and prosperous New Year! This is my first post for the year and I wanted it to be something different than my regular posts. So for this post I am gonna be reviewing one of the most controversial e-website of all times i.e. www.streetstylestore.com I came across SSS less than a year ago and have ordered quite a few times before penning down this post. Also, just a disclaimer in no way is this a sponsored post, all the shoes have been bought with my own money and these are my genuine experiences with the site.

For those of you all who don’t know SSS, it is a footwear site that has a huge variety of shoes be it sneakers, heels, wedges, flats etc at really affordable prices. They have also started with clothing and bags but haven’t tried those out yet. The quality of these shoes is slightly above average but are total steal for the price you pay. I was really skeptical about the site since I had heard trunk loads of mixed reviews. What scared me more was the fact that they don’t have a return policy. Maximum they do is give you another size in the same pair. Now I can’t comment on that since I never really had to return any of my pair.

I have ordered flats, block heels, pencil heals and stilettos from them over a period of time and have had a couple of good and bad experiences. The black block heels (astute recruit heels) are by far my best buy from the site. They are super comfortable and did not give me shoe bites even after wearing them for good 12 hours. But I was really disappointed with the stilettos (trendy pointy heels). They looked like a muted grey kind of shade on the site and what I got was a way lighter shade. Also, the part that supports your heel of one shoes is bent. Whenever I wear them, it slides down which then leaves my foot hanging out. Not happy with this. The only reason I ordered the zen heels (no longer available on site) was that beautiful orange and beige colour combination. I love it so much. I have worn it for a couple of times and I only have one complain. The heels on the left shoe is not in the centre. It is a bight towards right and I really need to be careful because the chances of me falling in them just increased by a 100%. I had also ordered a pair of rose gold flats (a sweet lemonade) which I loved to bits. Infact I had to throw them away because I had really outworn them!

Also, do keep in mind they take about a month to deliver your shoes. I know it is too much of a wait, but they make shoes on order. They even have offers like 3 pair for Rs. 999 and 2 pairs for Rs.999. I really wouldn’t recommend it. I had placed an order from the 2 pair for Rs.999 category and even after 2 months the order was still in process only. I ended up cancelling it. That was a big disappointment. COD is always preferable for this site since there is no 100% gaurentee that your product with reach you within appropriate time. But having said that, I did order one via net banking and thankfully got it in time without any problem.

Then comes the courier service. All my parcels have been delivered by Delhivery and I am not very happy with it. They took more than 10 days to deliver my parcel and no one answers the phone. Talking about customer service, SSS has the worst customer service ever. I have mailed them a couple of times regarding my parcel but all they reply is we are sorry this is taking longer than expected. Also, the collection hardly ever changes. They just add a couple of shoes to the existing collection on their site and don’t bother to add more for a couple of months. Last thing, they only have one image of each shoes on their site. That makes it difficult to understand how it will actually look in person.

Overall, I myself have mixed feelings for SSS. I order from them only if I really like a pair. Not very big on the quality but the price doesn’t hurt. Will order from there again if they add a few pair to their collection. Hope the post helped!
