4. CHOCOLATE COATED OREOS:  Sometimes I feel, that during festive season everyone has so much lavish food that a simple thing like this is a good change. I used strawberry oreos because of their heavenly match, but you can choose any flavor you like.

Ingredients:

Oreo biscuit

Melted chocolate

Strawberry essence.

Method:

Mix essence in chocolate and dunk in the oros one by one. Let it cool.

You may add sprinklers if you like.

5. COCONUT OIL: Yep, you read it right. Coconut oil is so easy to make at home and all you need is one coconut. This is actually my sisters recipe and when I tried to make it, it was just so easy.

Ingredients:

Coconut

Method:

Extract all the milk from the coconut and seal it in an airtight container.

Leave it in a cool and dry place for 12 hours and then put it in the fridge for another 6-8 hours.

Take a clean saucepan (you don’t want the dirt to mix with your oil) and transfer the layer above the water in it.

Cook it on medium flame until all oil is seperated.

Let it cool and transfer in a jar.

Use as required.

Tips:

Make sure you extract your milk with as much water as required.

When you remove it from fridge, it may stink a bit but don’t worry.

Do not fiddle with it when its cooking. Let it seperate on its own.

One coconut makes about 5 tbsp of oil. So use as many coconuts as you need.

So those were my top  5 gifting ideas! Hope you liked them! And Merry Christmas in advance everyone!!
